Vehicle Adaptations

We carry out a small selection of car adaptations for private customers.  This list may grow, so watch this page for additions.

We cannot currently install adaptations on Electric or Hybrid vehicles.

We do not carry out adaptations for Motability lease cars.  You should contact Motability to discussion alternative locations.

Adaptations to your car

We currently fit the following private adaptations:

Dual Controls where the He-Man controls are purchased through us

Remote Control Devices (non-standard hand controls)

Boot Hoists where the mobility product to be hoisted is being purchased from us at the same time

Driver Shields 

If you would like to progress with a Car Adaptation enquiry please complete this form.  By submitting this form you agree to paying the £70 (excl VAT) Research fee in advance.  This covers our research time irrispective of if we are able to proceed with your requested adaptation or not.  You can see our Car Adaptation prices here.

PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to advise the DVLA and your insurer of any medical conditions and/or adaptations fitted to your car.  If you require an assessment or advice on driving with a disability please contact DriveAbility Scotland.  Our staff cannot give advice on which adaptation you should have, we only fit them.
