Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment (LOLER)
Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (often abbreviated to LOLER) place duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment. This includes all businesses and organisations whose employees use lifting equipment, whether owned by them or not. You can find out more about LOLER Regs on the HSE website here.
City Mobility provides Lift weight and LOLER testing, and Lift servicing for equipment in vehicles such as cars and minibuses. You may be required to have these tests done on vehicles every 6-months. You should refer to the LOLER Regs; Lift Manufacturers instructions and your own Risk Assessments for more information. Your insurance may be invalidated if regular inspection isn't carried out.
