Meet with us

You can come and visit us in our Inverness showroom or we can come to you at your home free of charge (if you live in our dealership area).  If you decide to come to our Inverness showroom we are trying to limit the amount of people in it at any one time to allow for social distancing.  This means that you, or you and people in your bubble, would be the only customers in the showroom at that time.

Also, as our Showroom/Assessing Team are out and about doing home demos and assessments a lot, the number of staff available to help more than one bubble of people in the showroom can be limited.  It is preferable that you make an appointment to come and see us so that we can dedicate as much time as you need to chat with us and test drive a few products.  To make an appointment call 01463 250850 or e-mail us.

If we have an idea of what type of product you are looking for before you come we can try to ensure those particular products aren't out on home demo at the same time.

You are welcome to pop in without an appointment but if we are already busy or have appointments coming up soon you may have to wait (there is a cafe next door so ask us for a voucher for a free hot drink!).

The Health and Safety of our staff is of the utmost importance to us.  And keeping staff well means we will be able to continue to serve the 100s of people with disabilities and mobility issues that rely on us.  Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell or displaying any of the advertised signs of COVID-19.

Before we meet you

Please think about:

  • What your primary use for a product is e.g.
    • does it need to go into a car boot; who will be doing the lifting (bring them and the car it will be going in with you to check it fits and they can lift it safely).
    • does it need to go on public transport?
    • what kind of terrain the product needs to cover e.g. flat; good pavements; hills; roads; gravel; grass etc.
  • Where can you securely keep it?
    • If in the home where can it be stored and charged safely making sure you don't obstruct your emergency escape routes.
    • If you are storing in a shed, what width is the door?
    • Do you need to buy a bike lock to secure it to something immovable outside?
    • Do you need a waterproof cover as well?
  • How and where can you charge it?
    • Do the batteries need to be removeable to take to an electrical supply for charging?
    • If you are storing and charging in your home make sure it doesn't obstruct your emergency escape route.
  • Do you need to get your Landlord's permission first?
  • How far do you need to go on it?
  • Know your weight - most products have maximum user weights.
  • Do you need specific features on the product e.g.
    • Do you need to have walking sticks or crutches with you?
    • Do you need a basket or backpack to carry shopping, oxygen etc?
    • Do you need extra leg room if your legs need to be stretched out?
    • Does it have to fit in a lift or be able to manoeuver tight turns?
  • Can you read a sign 12 meters away?

Visiting our showroom

There are two disabled parking bays outside of our showroom door.  If you need assistance before you get out of your car, or want to check we are free to help you before you struggle out of your car - please just honk your horn to attract our attention!

Inside our showroom we have an accessible loo.  Hand sanitiser is also available.  There are also plenty of chairs with arms to sit and have a chat with us.

If you need help to transfer onto products you should bring someone with you to help you.  Our staff will not be able to help you with this.

Free home visits

By coming to our showroom you will be able to see approx 80 products and talk face-to-face about what you need.  If you can't easily come to us we can visit you free of charge, however, you must live in our dealership area.  Before we come we will have a chat with you over the phone (or e-mail if you can't communicate verbally) so we can bring a short-list of products that will best suit your needs.  Most home demos will take place outside your home (unless the product is to be used exclusively in your home) so wrap up warm and don't forget to lock your door and take your key.  If we have to come inside your home we will wear a face mask if you ask us to.

Call 01463 250850 or e-mail us to arrange a home demo.
